I just purchased ans installed Trainz Ultimate Collection. The problem is that it does not work. There is no consist, no loco collection, nothing works. I am running Windows 7 but the program is running in XP compatibilty mode UTC is almost 10 years old.
It may not work with WIN 7 no matter what mode you use. Perhaps a WIn7/UTC user, if any exist can provide some insight. UTC works just fine with XP. I am holding on to my XP, SP3 as long as I can. The problem is that it does not work. There is no consist, no loco collection, nothing works. I am running Windows 7 but the program is running in XP compatibility modeNot trying to sound rude, but why would you want to run UTC which came out in 02 rather than TRS2006 SP1 which came out in 05/06???
UTC is crap compared to 06. Personally, when I got the 'Trainz Ultimate Collection' back in 06, I chucked UTC & 04 disks straight in the bin. (06 runs well in Windows 7 - 32 & 64 bit). Note; this post is not meant to offended you in anyway. I apologies if it does. Last edited by meatloaf747; August 24th, 2010 at 10:00 PM.
UTC is crap compared to 06. All have their good and bad points over the different versions.
UTC was able to go to the back of a train a lot quicker when you wanted to move from the front. TRS 04 and later version offer industry & passenger unloading/loading. Even ( cough ur cough ur cough) TS2010 offers over TRS2004 the ability to be like the show Bewitched & move around and to add/delete stops - while in pause mode.
TRS2004, while you can add stops while in pause mode, you can't move around while in pause, and to make sure the extra instruction was added/deleted, you had to unpause it for a few minute Meatloaf, are you operating an earlier operating system? But I think MKH2010 answered his own question when it worked in compatibilty. Come September 1st there are going to be some people who are very very p'd off with N3V/Auran when they find themselves in the same boat.In UTC and versions before, that is correct, as stocks & stock parts support under Australia's TPA are supposedly to remain available for seven years after the product comes out. This does not mean that the retailer may have stocks left, they may and quite often do not. And the company that you brought the product must provide support for as long as the warranty (or implied warranty) lasts. So say a person buys TRS2004 today, and if a fault is found (& proven to be fault, that is not the fault of the customer through mishandling) then that customer as a right to discuss either a repair, refund or exchange, and you take it to the retailer. If you purchase say TRS2004 (or ANY) version of Trainz direct from Auran, and if their product has been proven to be found faulty (within the warranty period/implied warranty period), then the customer has the right to do the same thing, as the contract then is with the customer and Auran has to fix ( and supply support) the the situation with that customer, while under the warranty period.
If a customer buys TRS2004 (or UTC) as examples after September direct from Auran, then Auran must provide support for the warranty period/implied warranty period. Please note that this is for products brought in Australia, & may differ for outside Australia. Last edited by RedRattler; August 24th, 2010 at 11:30 PM.
BVE TrainSim Takashi Kojima (Mackoy) Release BVE TS 1: 1996 BVE TS 2: 2001 BVE TS 4: 2005 BVE TS 5: 2011 Mode(s), BVE Trainsim (originally Boso View Express ) is a Japanese three-dimensional computer-based. It is notable for focusing on providing an accurate driving experience as viewed from inside the cab, rather than creating a network of other trains —other trains passed along the route are only displayed as stationary objects.
BVE Trainsim was designed and developed by Takashi 'Mackoy' Kojima starting in 1996 with the original program name coming from the Japanese multiple unit trains found in routes in Japan. Although the internal working of the BVE Trainsim program itself cannot be modified, additional routes and train cab views can be added via a number of text-based configuration files. Route builders have produced over 300 additional routes for the program, along with matching cab environments. Routes simulate rail activity in Asia, North America, South America, and Europe. Screenshot of a driver's cab in BVE 4 BVE Trainsim 4, released in 2005, added support for plugins to simulate train safety systems other than ATS and ATC. Because of the cancellation of version three, this was the first follow-on stable version since version two. It also has better graphics than BVE 2 with the latter being a major update.
The latest version of BVE 4 is ver. 4.2.1947.25355 which was released on 1 May 2005. The used BVE Trainsim 4 to provide a simulation platform, within a mock underground rolling stock of the, before later porting to in 2010. BVE Trainsim 5 BVE Trainsim 5 was officially released on 5 September 2011 as the successor to BVE 4. In July 2008, the developer stated that he was rewriting BVE Trainsim from scratch because the previously released versions (BVE 2 and BVE 4) do not work with, and that the new version would support and. The first BVE 5 version (ver.
5.0.4265.3690) features a new format for storing train routes and route dependencies and a redesigned interface including a distance to next station indicator and a passenger comfort indicator. The latest version of BVE 5 is ver. 5.7.6224.40815 which was released on 17 March 2017. The BVE 5 download page also includes a route converter which can convert BVE 4 routes into a format recognised by BVE 5.
OpenBVE 1.4.2 openBVE is an developed train simulator. Although the name and logo were originally based on BVE Trainsim, openBVE is developed and written from scratch.
It features support for train exteriors, animated 3D cab environments and animated scenery. Internally, openBVE makes use of for rendering, as well as for three-dimensional positional audio. The program is noted for its cab ambiance and realism. It is currently distributed in the, along with full and. History openBVE was originally conceived in 2009, as a simulator, capable of running routes from BVE Trainsim, but with the eventual aim of loading content form other simulations, and the development of a separate route format. Initial development was done over four years from 2009 to 2013, by a team of four developers, lead by Michelle Boucquemont (michelle) and odakyufan.
In 2007 most, as the main developer Michelle Boucquemont ended his active work. Despite the lacking developer support, around 2009 openBVE was capable of running most BVE Trainsim routes correctly and also supported additional features, including an exterior view, animated 3D cabs, and animated objects. To end the stalled development in October 2015 a of OpenBVE was announced on BVEWorldwide by another group of developers. The group transferred the development and codebase to a new repository on. To date (May 2017), numerous additions were made by the project: new parameters for animated objects and the plugin API, several unfixed errata from the previous openBVE 1.4.3 errata fixed, and backgrounds added, and a basic has been added to make the installation of addons easier. OpenBVE was selected in September 2013 as 'HotPick'. References.

Hey guys, despite all the recent comments about How to Install OpenBVE and issues regarding 'Starting the program' or whatsoever Despite all this, I'm gonna make a video called How to Install OpenBVE for all Windows users Just one thing. I've heard that Vista and Se7en users may need to install additional dependencies but. On the OpenBVE Official Website, It's primarily for all Windows users. If that's the case, then I might need to make another tutorial for Vista and Se7en users.who are willing to play on OpenBVE. Otherwise, We'll begin the tutorial. 1) Downloading the program First, we'll start by opening up our web browser Just a minute. Then we'll go to The Offical OpenBVE Homepage The address link is openbve.trainsimcentral.co.uk Here, we'll go to the download link and you scroll down.
Gta 4 For Windows 7
If you don't mind, I would like you all to read this. Especially.regarding CPU and RAM, You might have in the game. You might lower framerates per second, or in other words, 'lag'. This would perhaps apply to people with 1GB of RAM or lower So. I'd just ask you to upgrade your CPU or RAM before you continue.and then, we'll worry about the dependencies later So, we'll go to this link here. The full program (excluding dependencies) Click on the download link.and then it says 'Before downloading this program, please read the installation instructions.'
.which is what I'm doing right now, so don't worry. So, go ahead and download. And then the file name should be 'openbvestable.zip' If it's a ZIP, you got to have a ZIP compression program. Such as WinZip, WinRAR, 7-Zip and TugZip. If you haven't. If you don't have a ZIP compression program, you need to install one of them.
So, I'm gonna download this onto my desktop. I'll close my web browser.and I will open up my ZIP file. Which is what I've just downloaded. And then you should have your. Data folder, Settings folder, AtsPluginProxy.dll file, OpenBVE.exe program, and Readme.txt file. Go ahead and install into your favourite directory, For demonstration purposes, I'm gonna put it in the Program Files folder. So I'm gonna make a new directory,.
And I'm going to drag these files into this directory. So it's extracting right now, and soon it'll come up here. There we go, and that's your first thing done. 2) Downloading system dependencies.
The next thing we're going to do is to download system dependencies. So dependencies that will not appear in your OpenBVE folder, but in your system hidden folders.and this will apply to users with Windows 2000 or lower, so, Windows ME, 95, 98, 2000. Because Windows users with Windows XP or higher, such as Vista and Se7en As well as XP.would have already installed the.NET Framework 2.0, so. If you're a XP user, or Vista user, or Se7en user. You'd might as well skip this instruction. Otherwise, lets continue.
So, from the OpenBVE Homepage, we'll go to the download link. The, we'll go to the Getting Started link. Because in the OpenBVE Getting Started page, it already has 2 download links.
So it's from this one, 'Downloading OpenBVE and Additional Dependencies (Windows)' We'll scroll down. This is What I'm tutoring you right now, and.
Open Bve
There are 2 links here, it'll direct you straight to te download page. And you need to know which download page you need to go to. And it depends on your operating system, If you have a 32-bit, download this one. If you have a 64-bit, download this link.
Bve 4 Download
If you don't know which bit you're operating on, you can download Piriform Speccy.which is a specification information program that tells you everything about your computer. From operating systems, disk drives, network, peripherals, and how much RAM you've got, your graphics card, and also it will tell you about your operating systems including what bit you're running on. So I'm running on a 32-bit, so I'm gonna click this one. It'll go straight onto the download page in the Microsoft Download Center. Take a quick look if you need to,.and go the the Download.
'If your download does not start after 30 seconds, click here: Start Download' 30 Seconds is bit too long, so I'm just gonna skip it, really. So 'Start Download' and. I'll save it onto my Desktop. In which I have done already, so I don't need to.and of course, if you're a Windows 2000 user or lower, then you would need to run that program and follow the instructions accordingly, over there.
So I don't need to do mine, because I'm running on XP. I almost forgot to mention that. If there's any issues regarding Microsoft.NET Framework, then there is a alternative.NET Framework and it's from Mono.and, not only it's cross-platform where it's available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's also open source. So, if I head over from the OpenBVE setup page, then it actually has a direct link to The Mono Homepage.and from there, you go to Download, and select Windows. Select 'Mono for Windows, Gtk#, and XSP' This is your download link, and your installation file should look like this: ( mono-2.6.4-gtksharp-2.12.10-win32-3.exe ).and it takes a little while, because it's 71.3MB; and. So you might have to take a little while to wait and download the program.
As I have already done, here.and from there, you setup the installation instructions accordingly, from over there.and that should be it, and go ahead and install it. There we go.and then, just click 'Finish'.and then OpenBVE should be able to search for that.NET Framework, over there. And that's your 'System Dependencies' done.
